About Keystone Elite Basketball Academy

Section 1: Our Foundation
Keystone Elite Basketball Academy was founded in June 2025 by Shawn Ryan with a clear vision—to bring the game back to what it was designed to be. After recognizing the gaps in today’s AAU landscape, Shawn set out to create a program rooted in purpose, development, and opportunity. By partnering with like-minded, positive organizations, Keystone Elite provides a safe and structured environment where athletes can learn, train, and grow. Each athlete is developed both individually and as part of a team, with a clear focus on three core pillars: Personal Development, Professional Development, and Athletic Development.

Section 2: Our Approach to Player Development & Recruiting
Keystone Elite is intentional in preparing athletes and families for the next level. Through ongoing research and real-world insight, we ensure families understand exactly what college programs are looking for and how to position themselves accordingly. We emphasize basketball skill development, strength training, and Basketball IQ, while also recognizing the importance of measurable performance metrics. Colleges often evaluate key data points before ever watching film or scheduling visits, which is why Keystone has invested in advanced equipment and technology to properly track, develop, and showcase each athlete’s performance.

Section 3: Beyond the Court
At Keystone Elite, development goes far beyond basketball. We are committed to shaping well-rounded individuals by emphasizing character, leadership, teamwork, faith, academic excellence, decision-making, habit building, community service, and the importance of family. We intentionally create space to teach and discuss these values, encouraging open dialogue and real-life application. Our coaches, staff, and volunteers don’t just teach these principles—they live them. We hold ourselves to a high standard, striving to be a daily example so that every athlete can hear it, see it, and ultimately become it.
